En Génesis 32 leemos la historia de Jacob luchando con Dios durante la noche. Al otro lado del encuentro divino de Jacob hubo un nuevo nombre, una nueva bendición, una nueva identidad y una nueva forma de caminar (literalmente). ¿Seremos un pueblo adorador que no se contenta con dormir toda la noche (espiritualmente hablando) y despertar en la mañana sin cambios? ¿Estamos dispuestos, como Jacob, a entrar en la lucha con Dios, atrevernos a conocerlo más íntimamente y ser cambiados en el proceso?

Esta es la premisa de “HAY MÁS” de Hillsong Worship. Realmente es una declaración de fe más que un título discográfico. Como escribe Brooke Ligertwood, “HAY MÁS en juego de lo que nos atrevemos a imaginar: almas, comunidades, familias, naciones al otro lado de nuestra lucha a lo largo de las temporadas oscuras”. Nuestra libertad personal es para el avivamiento colectivo. HAY MÁS de Dios y más sobre Dios y su amor de lo que podemos concebir.”

Con canciones como, “Who You Say I Am – Quien Dices Que Soy”, “The Passion – La Pasión”, “New Wine - Vino Nuevo”, junto con canciones de Hillsong Worship como, “What A Beautiful Name – Hermoso Nombre” y “I Surrender – A Ti Me Rindo”, HAY MÁS es el primer proyecto en español de Hillsong Worship. Nuestros líderes de alabanza Brooke Ligertwood, Taya Gaukrodger, Jad Gillies, Aodhan King, David Ware y otros cantan estas canciones en español por primera vez, apoyados por un coro formado por nuestro equipo de alabanza de Hillsong Buenos Aires, lo que hace que este proyecto tan especial de Hillsong Worship sea una expresión verdaderamente global y local de la iglesia Hillsong. Oramos para que ayude a apuntar a muchas personas a JESÚS en el hermoso idioma español.

In Genesis 32 we read the story of Jacob wrestling with God through the night. On the other side of Jacob’s divine encounter was a new name, a new blessing, a new identity and a new way of walking (literally). Will we be a worshipping people who are not content to sleep through the night (spiritually speaking) and wake in the morning unchanged? Like Jacob, will we enter into the wrestle with God, dare to know Him more intimately and be changed in the process?

This is the premise for Hillsong Worship’s, “THERE IS MORE”, truly is a statement-of-belief more than a record title. As Brooke Ligertwood writes, “THERE IS MORE at stake than we dare realise - souls, communities, families, nations on the other side of our wrestle through the night seasons. Our personal freedom is for corporate revival. THERE IS MORE of God and more to God and His love than we can possibly conceive of.”

With songs such as, “Who You Say I Am”, “The Passion”, “New Wine”, along with much-loved Hillsong Worship songs such as, “What A Beautiful Name” and “I Surrender”, Hay Más is the first Spanish project from Hillsong Worship. Our worship leaders Brooke Ligertwood, Taya Gaukrodger, Jad Gillies, Aodhan King, David Ware and more sing these songs in Spanish for the first time, backed by a choir made up of our local worship leaders from Hillsong Buenos Aires, making this very special Hillsong Worship project a truly global and local expression of Hillsong Church. We pray it helps point many people to JESUS in the beautiful Spanish language.
